Here's some HTML/JavaScript stuff I wrote. No ActiveX. No calls to Java. No calls to other scripts. This is an experiment with the limits of just HTML + JavaScript. I plan to add programs here each week. What do you think of them? Remember, you can email me:

• Dress-up a doll on the computer screen. Choose clothes, face, and hair. Fun for kids! (updated 1/9/10)
• Math quiz for addition and subtraction, requested by my daughter
• Nim, a math subtraction game
• Palindrome checker (Yo! Relocate taco, Leroy!") Please email me any good dromes you find
• Skiing. Use the , and . keys to steer (or buttons) (it'll speed up and there will be more trees to dodge). Very addictive (revised 11/18/09)
• Snake. Use i,j,k,m to steer (preferred) or use buttons. Eat pluses to speed up and grow. Wrap-around can be toggled on or off. Very addictive (added 10/6/09, updated 12/5/09)
• Type the letters you see before they go off the screen. Hey, where'd those other letters come from? Very addictive (updated 11/19/09)
• Helpful VIN checker (checks checksum, year, country and make). If 16 or 18 characters instead of 17, I'll help find the extra one. Or you can check a 17 with one character off. (updated 10/21/09, a work in progress)
• Whack-a-Bug. Click on the bug button as often as you can in 20 seconds (added 9/24/09)
• Word ladder solver for 3-, 4-, or 5-letter words (works well in Safari, but slow in IE)
